STAGING DESIGNER

RESPONSIBILITIES
Positively represent the Coy & Company brand with a professional appearance, respectful demeanor, and clear communication; always maintaining an elevated level of customer service
With supervision, develop luxury design concepts that are tailored to the specific potential buyer demographics and neighborhood aesthetic
Prepare all necessary items for projects, ensuring every detail contributes to a high-end, luxury look. This includes proactively communicating with team leaders if a project requires specific or additional items.
Efficiently and effectively manage job site staging installations, overseeing project installations, staging crew, and deliveries of product to job sites
Complete all projects on time, keeping the whole team assigned to this project up to date with regular postings on progress
Conduct pre and post property inspections & report any pre-existing conditions and or damages to the project manager
Meet company Directors’ and clients’ expectations for staging installations, as detailed in the Staging Agreement. Meet with and review the installation with the Agent and Director of Staging upon completion
Take ownership of staging installations and design aesthetics, be proactive, problem solve, and take constructive criticism from clients, agents, and superiors with grace, implementing their suggestions to the best of your abilities
Inventory Management
Proactively identify projects to be done in the warehouse, on a regular basis, as it pertains to inventory maintenance
Identify staging inventory to be discontinued or consigned, tagging and prepping the items for resale
Effectively use our Project & Inventory Management software.
SKILLS NEEDED
Driver’s license and reliable transportation
Creative thinker, with a good eye for aesthetics, color, detail
Highly organized & reliable, with strong time-management abilities
Excellent communication skills, positive and effective with co-workers, staff, crew, suppliers, and clients of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, and ethnic backgrounds and cultures
Highly adaptable, able to quickly shift direction as required, and willing to take on varied tasks & able to follow a strict schedule while also being flexible to last minute schedule changes
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position, regularly 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with some overtime expected occasionally. Workdays start at 7:30AM end around 4:00PM at our Burlingame, CA location.
The starting rate for this position depends on experience.
